Meet our Executive Chef William Hastert
Chef Will started his culinary journey at the Illinois Institute of Art graduating with honors in 2004. While attending AI Chef Will started his externship at the Union League Club of Chicago, where he continued to work for the next nine and a half years honing his skills at what would become the number one rated City Club in the Country in 2009. During his time at the ULCC Chef Will held lead positions in both the banquet and a la carte kitchens learning from some of the top Chefs in the city. In 2012, Chef Will was introduced to Fawzi (Alex) Ottman the award winning Executive Chef of the Odyssey Country Club. A short time later Chef Will joined the culinary team at The Odyssey Country Club. After a year working together Chef Alex was confident he had found the right person to replace him as the Executive Chef at the Country Club upon his retirement. Chef Will continues to uphold the superior quality that the public has come to expect from The Odyssey Country Club. His passion and previous experiences have helped Chef Will bring a modern flair to the time tested standards that define the dining experience at The Odyssey Country Club.
