Country Club is extremely proud to have award winning
Chef Alex Ottman,
CEC (Certified Executive Chef), AAC (America Academy
of Chef) as our Executive Chef. Chef Alex has been with
Odyssey since its opening in 1994. Prior to his position
of Executive Chef of Odyssey Country Club, he has held
various prestigious positions within well-known and
well-respected establishments such as the Sheraton Plaza
Hotel in Chicago, the Radisson Hotel in Lisle, and the
River Forest Country Club in River Forest.
Chef
Alex Ottman's background is very diversified
and he is a well-respected participant in many culinary
organizations, including The Culinary Institute of America,
the Mid-America Club of Chicago, The American Culinary
Federation, the Les Amis D'Escoffier Society and the
High Honor Society of the American Academy of Chef.
In addition to his affiliations with these organizations,
Chef Alex Ottman
is an intricate part of the teaching staff of Moraine
Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. He
has also been a member of the teaching staff at the
College of DuPage.
Chef
Alex Ottman is the recipient of many prestigious
awards including Chef of the Year of Chicago, presented
by the Chef of Cuisine Association. A small number of
the awards Chef has won can be seen as you enter the
foyer of Odyssey Country Club. The tours that are provided
to our customers highlight the award cabinet, as we
are extremely proud to have Executive Chef
Alex Ottman as our Executive Chef.
In
addition to the meals Chef prepares for the various
events hosted at Odyssey Country Club, Chef Alex prepares
the Odyssey Sunday Brunch that is hosted every Sunday
from 10:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. Please be sure to join us
for Brunch, as we know you will agree that Chef
Alex Ottman is truly a master of his art.
